Nabihah is an avid DJ and music-collector and since 2013 she has been hosting a bi-weekly show on NTS Radio, exploring musical traditions and cultures without boundaries. Many of the episodes are inspired by her undergraduate studies in Ethnomusicology at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She also enjoys making field recordings, especially on her travels, and often shares these on the show too.


During 2018-19 Nabihah was selected to be a resident on BBC Radio, presenting shows on BBC Asian Network, Radio 1 and 1Xtra. Since then, she appears frequently as a host across the BBC’s various radio networks, including BBC Radio 3, World Service and 6Music. In 2020, Nabihah presented two series of ‘Lose Yourself...’ on BBC 6Music, a show all about travelling through music and sound. Over 2021, Nabihah has covered shows for Gilles Peterson and Tom Ravenscroft on 6Music, as well as presenting the Early Morning Breakfast show.


In December 2020, Nabihah launched a monthly radio show, ‘New Music Energy’, which is dedicated entirely to new artists and new music.
